Hope for Future Generations

I have struggled a few times in my life with mental health issues. I just realized thinking back today when one of my closest friends died in 2002. I was a junior in high school and I was not offered any counseling or support. They pulled me out of class at 12:30pm to tell a small group of us then we were given the afternoon off from school. I hope children today never feel as lost and confused as I did. I never really dealt with that in a healthy way. Mental health has come a long way since 2002 so I hope my story is no longer found acceptable.
